Commercial Engineer – Willenhall - Up to £47,000An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Engineer to join a leading precision engineering organisation based in Willenhall. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in estimating and commercial support within an engineering environment.The successful candidate will play a key role in leading customer estimating activities, supporting Cost of Sales (COS) functions, and driving continuous improvement within the engineering department.Key ResponsibilitiesLead estimating activities for CNC machined parts, ensuring quotations are accurate and delivered on time.Prepare detailed cost estimates to support new business acquisition.Collaborate closely with the supply chain to source materials to customer specifications.Provide commercial support for engineering COS processes, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency.Review COS data to implement lessons learned and drive future cost reduction initiatives.Support the engineering team in meeting customer demands and maintaining high service standards.Develop and maintain process documentation in line with company procedures.Knowledge & SkillsStrong understanding of precision engineering processes, tooling, and fixtures.Proven track record of delivering cost-saving initiatives.Excellent organisational and workload management skills within a small team environment.Ability to analyse data, identify improvement opportunities, and implement effective solutions.Salary & BenefitsCompetitive salary up to £47,000, depending on experience.Opportunity to work within a forward-thinking, precision engineering business.Supportive environment that values innovation, teamwork, and professional growth.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Engineer to make a real impact - combining technical expertise with commercial insight to help shape the future success of a dynamic engineering organisation.
