This 265m+ scheme is in its early stages, with demolition already underway, offering a rare opportunity to join a landmark project from the ground up and play a pivotal role in shaping its success.With strong pipelines of work and continued investment in people and systems, our client is seeking a driven, motivated Quality Manager who wants to be hands on, visible on site, and instrumental in setting quality standards on a flagship project. This role is ideally suited to someone who thrives in fast paced environments.The RoleAs Quality Manager, you will be a key member of the project leadership team, responsible for embedding a strong quality culture from the earliest stages of construction. Reporting directly to the Project / Production Lead, and working closely with the central business wide quality team, you will have real influence over how quality is planned, implemented, and delivered on site.This is not a back office role you will be on the ground, working alongside delivery teams, driving standards, solving problems, and ensuring the project is built right first time. The early stage nature of the scheme provides genuine ownership and the chance to leave a lasting mark on a major project.What You Will BringDegree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Studies, or a related disciplineHNC/HND in Construction or Engineering (or equivalent experience)Valid CSCS CardExperience progressing from roles such as Project Engineer, Site Manager, or similarA proven background in quality assurance or quality management within constructionStrong understanding of construction standards, regulations, and technical drawingsHands on experience with inspections, audits, and quality control processesExcellent communication skills and the confidence to challenge when requiredSharp attention to detail with a practical, solutions focused mindsetAbility to perform under pressure in a live site environmentFamiliarity with quality management systems and reporting toolsCIOB, Six Sigma, or ISO related qualifications (advantageous, not essential)A strong work ethic, ambition, and a desire to grow within a leading contractorCore ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of quality management across the project from early works through to completionImplement, manage, and continuously improve the project quality management systemCarry out inspections, audits, and compliance checks across xjdpvnf all site activitiesDrive a proactive quality culture across subcontractors and site teamsIdentify quality risks early and work collaboratively to mitigate themManage non-conformances, corrective actions, and close-out processes efficientlyProvide clear, regular quality reporting to project leadership and central quality teamsSupport the development of robust quality documentation and final handover packsChampion continuous improvement and best practice across the projectWhats on OfferNegotiable salary (depending on experience)Monthly car allowancePermanent role on a high profile 265m+ project from its earliest stagesReal autonomy and visibility within a major contractor environmentClear progression routes supported by a strong central quality functionOpportunity to build your reputation on a flagship schemeImmediate start available
