This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of hardware, software, and physical design, bringing ambitious concepts to life through functional, large-scale prototypes.Check out the role overview below If you are confident you have got the right skills and experience, apply today.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the integration of large-scale hardware systems, including mechanical props, embedded electronics, and advanced display technologies, into feasibility and demonstration prototypesCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electronics, software, and spatial designers) to embed display systems into physical props such as animatronics and sculptural elements, enabling synchronized motion and visual interactionTranslate and align technical requirements across hardware, software, and spatial design domains to ensure system compatibility, robustness, and performanceBuild integrated systems that convincingly demonstrate future deployability in public-facing environmentsWork closely with hardware engineers and experimentalists to validate simulations, control algorithms, and system behaviour in real-world setupsSupport IP generation through novel algorithm development, system architecture design, and comprehensive technical documentationExperience & Skills RequiredStrong understanding of mechatronics and physical system integrationProven experience managing installations or deployments in public-facing environmentsExperience working with exhibit designers, museum technologists, or immersive experience teamsHands-on familiarity with embedded electronics, mechanical assemblies, and control systemsExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge technical and creative disciplines. xjdpvnf Apply today for more information!
