Sheet Metal Worker / Structures Technician – Chinook Program Location: Fleetlands, Gosport Contract: Outside IR35 Pay: From £35 per hour Hours: Up to 50 hours per week availableAbout the Role: We are looking for experienced Structures Technicians / Sheet Metal Workers to join our team at Fleetlands, working on the Chinook helicopter program. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-profile rotary-wing project in a well-equipped facility.Key Responsibilities:Perform structural repairs, modifications, and assembly on Chinook airframes.Carry out sheet metal work including drilling, reaming, countersinking, riveting (solid, blind, hi-lok), and fitting parts to engineering drawings.Work with alloys and composites, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards and safety requirements.Requirements:Proven experience in aircraft structural or sheet metal work.Previous rotary-wing experience (Chinook preferred) highly desirable.Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.Knowledge of fastener installation, sealant application, and composite repair practices advantageous.What We Offer:Competitive hourly rate from £35 per hour.Outside IR35 contract status.Up to 50 hours per week available for those seeking maximum earning potential.Opportunity to work on a prestigious program with a leading aerospace organization.
