Multi-Skilled Engineer Mobile Location: Hampshire,SO40Contract Length: 3 Months (With Possibilities of extension)Pay Rate: 19.48 per hourIncrease your chances of reaching the interview stage by reading the complete job description and applying promptly.Job OverviewWe are currently seeking experienced Multi-Skilled Mobile Engineers to carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical building services plant at a site.The successful candidates will ensure all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with contractual KPIs, statutory requirements, and site procedures. This role also involves supporting business continuity, including emergency and out-of-hours response when required. This is a mobile role in Hampshire, vehicle, phone, tablet & tools will be supplied along with full uniform & PPE.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance & OperationsCarry out PPM tasks in line with site schedules and CAFM systemsAttend and resolve reactive maintenance call-outs promptlyDiagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical plantCarry out Legionella monitoring, fire alarm testing, and compliance checksEnsure all plant and equipment are maintained in safe working conditionCompliance & DocumentationComplete all PPM and reactive maintenance documentation accurately via CAFM systems (e.g. PlanOn)Prepare and work to Method Statements and Risk AssessmentsOperate Permit to Work systems in accordance with site and client proceduresMaintain site logbooks and adhere to sign-in/sign-out processesHealth, Safety & SHEQWork in line with Health & Safety and SHEQ policiesEnsure correct use of PPE at all timesReport accidents, incidents, and near misses promptlyEnsure tools and test equipment are calibrated and fit for purposeClient & Stakeholder EngagementAct as a professional on-site representativeRespond to helpdesk and client requests in a timely and professional mannerLiaise with the Helpdesk to provide updates on PPM and reactive tasksSupervise subcontractors where requiredGeneral DutiesMaintain clean and tidy xjdpvnf plant rooms and work areasPresent a professional appearance at all timesProvide flexible support, including short-notice cover if requiredParticipate in an out-of-hours call-out rotaSkills & Experience RequiredProven experience in multi-skilled building services maintenanceStrong fault-finding skills across mechanical and electrical systemsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExperience using CAFM systemsQualifications Electrical/Mechanical (Preferred)C&G 236 / 2330 Level 2 & 3 or equivalent18th Edition Wiring Regulations (C&G 2382)C&G 2391 or 2394/2395 (desirable)BTEC Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC
