Group Management Accountant - 55,000 to 60,000 Location: Outskirts of Liverpool City Centre Contract: Initially fixed-term, with potential to become permanent Working Pattern: 4 days in the office / 1 day from home A valued client is currently seeking an experienced Group Management Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business with modern offices located on the outskirts of Liverpool City Centre. The position is being offered on a fixed-term basis initially, with the strong possibility of becoming a permanent role. The successful candidate will take a lead role in producing management accounts and providing financial insight across a group of companies, working closely with senior stakeholders to support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Preparation of monthly group management accounts, including consolidation of multiple entities Analysis of variances, trends, and key performance indicators Preparation and review of budgets and forecasts across the group Supporting the month-end close process, including accruals, prepayments and journal postings Business partnering with departmental heads to provide financial insight and support Assisting with year-end audit and liaising with external auditors Monitoring and improving internal controls and financial processes Supporting ad hoc projects, including systems improvements and group reporting enhancements Candidate Profile: Ideally fully qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA), though qualified by experience candidates with relevant background will be considered Previous experience in a group accounting or multi-entity environment is highly desirable Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently across the business A proactive and analytical approach, with a strong attention to detail What's on Offer: Salary: 55,000 - 60,000 (dependent on experience) Hybrid working: 4 days in the office, 1 day from home Free on-site parking Modern office facilities with an on-site canteen Supportive and collaborative working environment Genuine opportunity for a permanent position This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and commercially minded management accountant to take on a varied and impactful role within a supportive team.
