Your new company HMP Bullingdon (officially His Majesty's Prison and Young Offenders Institute Bullingdon) is a Category B/C men's prison located in Arncott, near Bicester in Oxfordshire. Your new role We are currently looking for 2 part-time cleaners, to job share over a 7-day period, 4 hrs per day. Key Responsibilities Clean and maintain hygiene standards across prison facilities, including offices, wings, communal areas, visitor centres, and toilets. Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising high-touch surfaces Use equipment and cleaning chemicals appropriately, adhering to COSHH regulations. Collaborate with multi-skilled facilities teams (plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, and administrators) to support overall site operations. Maintain high health and safety standards and comply with internal operational procedures What you'll need to succeed Candidate Requirements Proven experience in a cleaning environment (commercial, healthcare, retail, or similar) Knowledge of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) Strong understanding of health and safety protocols Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively Good interpersonal skills to work closely with team members from various trades Ability to work methodically under pressure and meet required standards and deadlines What you'll get in return A competitive rate of pay and the opportunity for a permanent position.
