CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator / CNC Machinist Dudley (Permanent Day Shift) People Solutions are currently recruiting for a CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator / CNC Machinist Dudley to join our well-established client based in Dudley on a full-time permanent basis. Shifts Day shift Monday to Thursday: 8:00am 4:30pm Friday: 8:00am 3:30pm Salary 16.50 17.00 per hour 31,317 32,266 per annum Overtime available Benefits Permanent, day shift role Opportunity to work within a skilled and supportive team Career progression opportunities Hands-on exposure to precision CNC machining Day-to-Day Duties Set up, program, and operate CNC milling machines and horizontal borers Carry out milling, boring, and general machining operations Read and interpret engineering drawings, including machining symbols, tolerances, and geometric tolerances Conduct quality checks using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers and slip gauges Work flexibly to support production and complete additional duties as required Ensure adherence to safety procedures, company standards, and regulatory requirements Support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop Essential Skills Experience with medium to large milling and boring operations Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately Ability to check own work using precision measuring equipment Experience in a subcontract or precision machining environment Completed engineering apprenticeship, CNC Machinist training, or proven practical experience Desirable Skills Heidenhain programming experience preferred Fanuc control knowledge beneficial Training Provided On-the-job training to familiarise with machines, processes, and company standards Ongoing support to develop technical, programming, and machining skills Apply If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as a CNC Machinist, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more.
