Have you got the right qualifications and skills for this job Find out below, and hit apply to be considered.We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Kier Places Building Solutions team based in London.Location: London remote working available, with occasional travel to the office requiredHours: 40 hours per week 08:3017:00We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.What will you be responsible for?As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Kier Places Building Solutions team, supporting them in delivering high-quality refurbishment and construction projects across London.Your day to day will include:Managing commercial resources (finance) for assigned projects to maximise planned gross marginTendering, evaluating, and appointing consultants and subcontractors, and placing orders for materials and plantIdentifying, negotiating, and agreeing variations to contracts with customers and suppliersMeasuring and valuing work to support invoicing and paymentsProducing monthly reports and forecasts to satisfy business requirementsWhat are we looking for?This role of Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:You have relevant qualifications (Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying desirable)You have experience in a similar role within construction or refurbishment projectsYou possess strong communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and supply chainsYou are organised, able to prioritise, and work to deadlinesYou can use IT packages including Microsoft Office and bespoke systemsWe're all about finding potential here at Kier, andtransferrable skills are always welcome!
