The Best Connection is currently recruiting Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers for an exciting temp-to-perm opportunity with our client based in Bishop Auckland. Our client is a well-established, independent packaging company with a strong reputation for quality and reliability. The Role: We are looking for a reliable Class 2 (Cat C) Driver to deliver cardboard packaging to customers across the North East. This is a customer-facing position, so a friendly and professional approach is essential as you will be representing The Best Connection at all times. The Class 2 (Cat C) Driver will also ensure deliveries are completed safely and on schedule. The Candidate: Minimum of 2 years'' commercial driving experience as a Class 2 (Cat C) Driver Valid and in-date Class 2 licence, CPC, and digital tachograph card Positive, customer-focused attitude Hours of Work: Monday to Friday with a 07:00 start time Weekend work may be available: Saturday: 21.75 per hour Sunday & Bank Holidays: 29.00 per hour Pay Rates: 14.50 per hour (Monday to Friday) Overtime paid at time and a half after 8 hours Benefits of Working with The Best Connection: Competitive pay rates 24/7 access to dedicated consultants Pension contributions Online payslips Holiday accrual Personal accident insurance Ongoing, long-term assignments Suitable candidates will be invited to register online.
