With a strong focus on continuous improvement, safety, and quality, we are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team and play a key role in keeping our automated production facility running at peak performance.The RoleAs a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving a wide range of automated machinery and equipment. Working closely with production teams, youll help drive performance through proactive maintenance and continuous improvement.This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about engineering excellence.Shift Pattern is Monday to Friday 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm (alternating weeks)Key ResponsibilitiesRespond promptly to equipment breakdowns and communicate clearly with production on expected downtime and solutionsCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and servicing in line with schedulesSupport the commissioning and installation of new equipmentWork collaboratively with the production and engineering teams to improve OEE, reduce downtime, and enhance machinery performanceComplete all necessary engineering documentation accurately and on timeAttend team meetings and contribute to improvements in GMP, safety, and efficiencyIdentify and implement solutions to reduce waste and inefficienciesMaintain a clean, safe working environment, in line with Health & Safety policies and audit-ready site standardsTake part in ongoing training and development, including becoming a super-user on key equipmentSupport in completing risk assessments and ensuring compliance with site proceduresWhat Were Looking ForCity & Guilds, BTEC Level 3 or above in Electrical/Mechanical EngineeringRecognised apprenticeship in a manufacturing environment (preferred)Minimum 3 years experience in a fast-paced automated production facilityStrong understanding of both mechanical and electrical maintenanceProactive and self-motivated with excellent communication skillsA keen focus on Health & Safety, hygiene, and continuous improvementWillingness to work flexibly, including occasional travel to other sitesExperience in FMCG, food, or brewery environmentsKnowledge of HACCP and food hygiene standardsFamiliarity with Moba grading equipment, automation, and tray wash systemsIOSH Working Safely certification (training provided if required)Training & DevelopmentWe invest in our people.
