Are you looking for a Workshop based role? 40 hours per week,salary from 19p/h Day Shifts 7:30am 4pmPermanent - Full Time position Please note, Night Shifts are available if youd prefer nights, will include a shift allowance We are looking for qualified and time served HGV Technicians who can demonstrate a thorough understanding of commercial vehicle repair and maintenance for a workshop in the Corby area. The role: You could be working on main dealer heavy goods vehicles (HGV's), tractor and trailer units. Mainly Scanias Volvos and DAFs The type of work you can expect to be carrying out includes (but is not limited to)You will be carrying out inspections to a varied and diverse fleet, Tractor and Trailer units, service, repair and maintenance, the majority will be tractor unit.MOT preparationScheduled servicing to DVSA standards6 (or 8) weekly inspectionsCorrection of running defectsElectrical and wiring inspections and correctionsRequirements for this HGV Technician role:Ideally you will be fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ or equivalent. xjdpvnf Additional accreditations such as IRTEC or an EV qualification would be desirable, as would an HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence.
