This is a fantastic opportunity for a CIPD-qualified HR professional to work in a rewarding education environment, providing comprehensive generalist HR support.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide face-to-face generalist HR advice and guidance to management on employee relations and people management issues across Schools and Sports CentresAdvise on HR policies, procedures, employment legislation and complianceOversee and manage a wide range of HR processes, including:Maternity, Paternity & Shared Parental LeaveFlexible Working RequestsDisciplinary & Grievance processesAbsence and Performance ManagementAnnual Performance ReviewsTraining & DevelopmentConflict ResolutionOff boarding and exit arrangementsSupport Recruitment & Selection, including shortlisting and interviewingAssist the wider HR team with additional HR casework as requiredManage and update HR systems and maintain accurate employee recordsAdminister and maintain employee personnel files (both physical and electronic)Ensure ISI Inspectorate compliance, including maintaining and updating the Single Central Record (SCR)Undertake HR-related checks for volunteers, gap students and contractorsSupport data input, reporting, collation and preparation of HR correspondenceTake minutes for HR-related meetingsRequirementsCIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent)Strong generalist HR experience, ideally within an education or public sector environmentExcellent knowledge of UK employment legislationStrong organisational, communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a wider HR teamWhats on OfferCompetitive hourly rate of 17.18 per hourTerm-time only working patternTemp to perm opportunity for the right candidateSupportive and professional working environmentInterested? xjdpvnf Apply today through Smart Recruitment to take the next step in your HR career.All roles subject to satisfactory checks per "Keeping Children Safe in Education" guidelines; including DBS Check and referencing
