ToolmakerSubmit your CV and any additional required information after you have read this description by clicking on the application button.Orion are working with a heavy industrial manufacturing company based in Worcester who are looking for An experienced Tool Maker to join the team in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.Tool Maker Package:Competitive Salary 34,000 Shift premium26 days holiday Bank HolidaysPM Shift allowance 16% (2,640 per annum)Annual attendance allowance of 1000 which is paid monthly in instalmentsDeath in servicePension contributionTool Maker Shifts: Double Day Shift: 6am 2pm & 2pm 10pmTool Maker Responsibilities:Working closely with a team of 2x Tool MakersMaintaining CNC & die casting machinery Or similar industrial equipmentSupporting productionContinuous improvement in toolingSmall amount of welding/fabricationMaintenance and production of fixturesFault finding in compact machinery and spacesWorking into senior management to help with the running of the tool roomTool Maker Required Experience:Manual Turning, Milling, Grinding, Bench FittingWelding/fabricationStripping/Assembling of dies and trimtools or plastic injection moulding machinesExperience in forge, die casting or injection moulding environmentMaintenance of CNC and die casting machinery or similar equipmentPrevious experience working in a tool room environmentStrong communication skills requiredProblem solvingTool Maker Qualifications:Apprentice trained ideally or time servedTool making manual machining skillset/backgroundIf you like the look of this Toolroom leader role, then click and apply or if you would like further information, please contact Katie Maisey at Orion Electrotech Aylesbury.
