The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Bury St Edmunds area.Please read the information in this job post thoroughly to understand exactly what is expected of potential candidates.We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (C) to join the team.Roles: HGV Class 2 Twilight HGV Class 2 Nights Shifts: Class 2 Twilight- Across Monday to Sunday (weekends are required) Class 2 Nights- Across Monday to Sunday (weekends are required) Hours: Class 2 Twilight- Between 15:00pm and 17:00pm start time Class 2 Nights- Between 22:00pm and 23:59pm start time Pay Rate : Class 2 Twilight- 16.13 per hour PAYE Class 2 Nights- 17.59 per hour PAYE Location: Bury St.Edmunds IP32 Job Type: Ongoing with the opportunity of permanent for the right candidate The role: Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.Handling runs, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).Full understanding of WTD legislation.Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.Excellent communication skills.A safety-first mindset. xjdpvnf For more information, please apply directly with a copy of your CV today and a member of our team will be in touch!
