Their systems combine intelligent sensing, cutting-edge electronics and sophisticated software to deliver capabilities that are attracting major industry attention.As the team continues to expand, they’re looking for a Senior Electronics Test Engineer to become the go-to electronics expert within a small, highly talented engineering group. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and seeing their work tested in real-world environments.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform hands-on testing and fault-finding of electronic systems and assembliesRework and repair PCBs, including component replacement and solderingConduct in-field testing and commissioning of robotic marine vesselsUse test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic toolsIdentify, document, and report faults and test results clearlyWork closely with design and systems engineers to support development and validationSupport continuous improvement of test procedures and reliabilityRequired Skills & ExperienceExperience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, or repairStrong PCB rework and soldering skillsConfident using test tools such as multimeters and related equipmentPractical, hands-on approach to engineering challengesAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamWillingness to perform on-site and in-field testing as requiredDesirable (but not essential)Experience with marine, robotics, or autonomous systemsFamiliarity with environmental or in-field testing conditionsBased in Central Southampton
