Job Title: SC Cleared Duty Technician Location: Hursley, near Southampton Contract: Fixed term 4 years, ending 31 March 2030 Shift Pattern: 12 hour shifts. 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am. 4 days on, 4 days off On site role. No remote working Overview We are recruiting SC Cleared Duty Technicians to support the smooth and secure operation of critical supply chain and technical services. This is a hands on operational role for individuals who are detail focused, technically competent, and comfortable working in a secure, shift based environment. Key Responsibilities Handle incoming technical incidents, service requests and change activities Manage personal call queue and close tickets within agreed SLAs Provide clear updates and maintain ongoing customer communication Resolve issues ranging from simple password resets to complex server and infrastructure queries Escalate issues to third line teams where appropriate Work as part of a close knit, highly skilled engineering team Collaborate with third line technical delivery, development and project teams Perform software builds and rebuilds on PCs and laptops Diagnose and resolve hardware faults and carry out hardware upgrades Deliver consistently high levels of customer service in a secure environment Essential Requirements Minimum 5 years unbroken UK residency Must already hold SC clearance and be eligible for NPPV3 Strong technical troubleshooting capability across hardware and software Experience working within IT service management or operational support functions Willingness to work 12 hour rotating shifts, including nights Reliable, professional, and comfortable operating in a controlled environment This is a long term, stable role in a serious environment.
