Cable Installation Operatives - Monk Fryston Location: Monk Fryston, Leeds Rate: £28.50 per hour Hours: 45 hours per week Start Date: Preferred start dates of 12th or 19th January 2026 Duration: Positions Available: 12 operatives Role Overview We are recruiting experienced Cable Installation Operatives for a large-scale BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) project in Monk Fryston. The role involves the hands-on installation of DC and LV cables, working closely with jointers and electrical engineers on site. Operatives will be required to manually install short cable runs (approximately 25 metres) and must be physically capable of carrying out this work safely and efficiently. Flexibility is essential, as operatives may be asked to assist with other site duties when cable installation works are not available. Key Responsibilities Installation of DC and LV cables on BESS units Manual handling and placement of short cable lengths Working alongside jointers and electrical engineers Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and site housekeeping Assisting with other site tasks as required Essential Skills & Requirements Proven experience in Cable Installation CSCS card (minimum requirement) Physically fit and capable of manual cable installation Willingness to be flexible and support general site activities Desirable Skills CPCS Dumper qualification Additional CPCS or plant tickets What's on Offer Competitive rate of £28.50 per hour 45 hours per week Opportunity to work on a major energy infrastructure project Multiple positions available with an immediate project start If interested, contact Dan on (phone number removed) for more information
