Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company in their search for a Quality Manager to work in their leading facility in Telford For the successful Quality Manager our client is offering; Salary of up to £47,000 per annum DOE Monday – Thursday: 08.00am – 16.35pm, Friday: 08.00am – 13.00pm Permanent role Canteen facilities on site Pension and Sovereign Health Care Free parking Friendly team The Role of the Quality Manager; Review and revise the company’s quality procedures, standards and specifications Review customer requirements and make sure that they are met Work with purchasing to establish quality requirements from external suppliers Set standards for Quality Make sure that manufacturing or production processes meet international and national standards Look at ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency Define quality procedures in conjunction with the operating staff Set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures Monitor performance by gathering data and produce reports  Review existing policies and make suggestions for changes and improvements, and how to implement them Measure performance and identify any areas of weakness, recommending and implementing improvements Liaise with other managers and staff and provide training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality standards Assess the effectiveness of changes made Lead initiatives in Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing Ensure compliance with emerging standards (such as the international standard of ISO 9001:2015, IATF16949, ISO14001) Train and manage a team of Quality Engineers and Quality Inspectors What our client is looking for in a Quality Manager; Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an automotive environment - ESSENTIAL Previous experience developing, implementing and maintaining QMS in line with standards such as ISO9001, IATF16949- ESSENTIAL Planned and conducted internal audits and supported external audits, addressed non-conformities through root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen and reduce defects, rework and waste while improving efficiency and customer satisfaction Perform risk assessments (FMEA) and implement preventative controls to minimise quality and operational risks Deliver quality awareness and compliance training across all departments Handled customer complaints and quality issues professionally and effectively Analysed Quality metrics (KPI’s, defect rates, audit results) and reported performance and improvement plans to senior managers Alternative job titles; Quality Assurance Manager (QA Manager), Quality Control Manager (QC Manager), Quality & Compliance Manager, Quality Improvement Manager, Quality Systems Manager, Manufacturing Quality Manager, Production Quality Manager, Supplier Quality Manager, Technical & Quality Manager, Operations Quality Manager Commutable From; Telford, Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury, Cannock, Bridgnorth, Dudley, Newport, Market Drayton, Stafford For further information about this and other positions please apply now  This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Recruit4staff Wrexham Limited who are operating as a recruitment agency, agent, agencies, employment agency or employment business
