To continue to support our growth and further develop the market for our products, we are looking for an energetic passionate, Electronics Technician/ Calibration Metrologist to support our existing high profile client relationships.You will be working with the whole OSIL team to enable further development of our maritime and subsea business globally.This varied post will comprise a combination of servicing, data verification, calibration and development/ assembly work with the opportunity for overseas fieldwork & training.This is a challenging highly diverse role that requires a wide range of skills from electronics, integration & network knowledge.Based in the UK facility the role will encompass varied responsibilities, the key aspects of which are:Checking instruments for data integrity and operationInstallation and rigging of calibration items/ instruments in the labProcessing of calibration results, generation of certificates Day to day problem solving and investigations on client equipmentTechnical correspondence with clientsEnsuring customer turnaround times are met.Upkeep of calibration equipmentContinual development of best working practices and methodologiesPosition RequirementsThe candidate we have in mind is inquisitive, able to think outside the box, detail driven with an accurate work practice and a can do hands-on mentality.
