We are looking for a hands-on Garment Technologist to support a streetwear and sports-influenced apparel collection, with a strong focus on technical execution, fit, fabric choice, and commercial realism.This is a Watford-based, execution-led role, working closely with Design, Product, and Suppliers to ensure garments are right first time — on fit, cost, quality, and delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate, check, and manage tech packs, specs, measurements, and workbooks to a factory-ready standardTranslate design intent into practical, production-viable garmentsMeasure and review samples across proto, SMS, PPS, and pre-production stagesSupport and contribute to fit sessions, issuing clear, decisive fit and construction commentsAdvise on fabric selection, trims, and construction methods with performance, durability, and cost in mindWork directly with suppliers on pricing, MOQs, lead times, and technical feasibilityFlag early any design or fabric choices that will impact FOB cost, margin, or deliveryLiaise daily with offshore factories to drive speed, accuracy, and consistencyEnsure garments meet quality, fit, and compliance standardsSupport problem-solving where sampling or production issues ariseKey RequirementsProven experience as a Garment Technologist within streetwear, sportswear, or casual apparelStrong technical understanding of garment construction, fit, fabrics, and pattern interpretationExperience across jersey, fleece, woven, and casual sportswear categoriesStrong commercial awareness — understands how fabric, fit, and construction affect price and marginComfortable working in a fast-paced, reactive environmentConfident managing tech packs and factory communication end-to-endHighly organised, practical, and delivery-focusedStrong Excel and MS Office skillsUK-based candidates with the right to work only.
