Bristol (Covering Bristol and surrounding with occasional staying away located 2 or more hours away)£30K (OTE £40K - £45K)PermanentWorking with a well-established engineering company who are on the lookout for an Installation Engineer (Field Services) to join their growing team based in Bristol.This is a multi-purpose mobile (van and site based) role, involving travelling to customers sites anywhere in the UK (and occasionally but rarely outside of the UK) then delivering, installing, de-installing conveyor systems.Key Responsibilities – Installation EngineerInstalling and deinstalling conveyor systemsCorrectly using all PPE equipment and clothing providedDelivery of goods / arrival on site on time and when agreedWorking closely with clients and their subcontractors ensuring their satisfaction at all timesProblem solving on site and using own initiative to resolve queries with customers directProviding accurate reports to line management using company procedures on completion of each assignmentCarefully loading and unloading vehicles in order to best maintain condition of both the vehicle and the equipment being transportedQualifications & Experience – Installation EngineerBasic mechanical experience required (install experience would be advantageous) – conveyor experience would also be advantageousWillingness and regular availability for work-away for jobs all over the UKWillingness and regular availability for variable shift patterns where customers demand it (for example, night work, weekend work and/or double shifts)Permits to use and operate powered access equipment and scaffold towers and experience working at height essentialFull driving license with minimum pointsOn Offer – Installation Engineer£30K (OTE £40K - £45K)Overtime rate paid at x1.5 after 10 hours within working monthWorking away when required - £75 per night bonus as well as a Premier Inn and meal deal paid forCost of living bonus which is approx. £250 per month once they complete a 3 month probationFor more information on this role, please contact Harry Waller on 01453 829778 or send a copy of your CV to Resource Group is an employment agency specialising in opportunities at all levels within the Engineering, Aerospace, Automotive, Electronics, Defence, Scientific, Oil & Gas, Construction and Manufacturing sectors.
