Market leaders, with a strong entrepreneurial culture, we support developers, operators and industrial clients in accelerating the energy transition across Europe and the Americas.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Business Developer with a strong background in the biomethane and biogas market to drive growth across UK & Ireland. This role is pivotal in expanding our project portfolio, building strategic partnerships, and strengthening our market presence in Europe.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute business development strategies for biomethane projects across the target regionsIdentify, assess, and secure new commercial opportunities (greenfield and brownfield projects)Build and manage relationships with end users, EPCs, developers, utilities, off-takers, regulators, investors and regulatory bodiesLead commercial negotiations and coordinate the preparation of technical & commercial offersMonitor regulatory frameworks, incentives, and market trends in each countryRepresent the company at industry events, conferences and stakeholder meetingsBuild and manage a pipeline of opportunities than can convert into sales.Required ProfileMinimum 5–8 years’ experience in business development within the biogas, biomethane or renewable gas marketsProven track record of closing deals and developing projects in at least one of the target regionsStrong understanding of biomethane value chains (feedstock, upgrading, grid injection, offtake)Excellent commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work independently in a cross-border, fast-paced environmentFluency in English is required; additional languages are a strong assetWhat We OfferA strategic role in a fast-growing renewable energy sectorCompetitive salary and performance-based incentivesHigh level of autonomy and international exposureOpportunity to contribute directly to the energy transition and decarbonization goalsCollaborative, entrepreneurial, and purpose-driven company cultureHow to ApplyIf you are passionate about renewable gases and have the ambition to shape the future of biomethane in Europe, pls send your CV to: recrutamento_energia@
