Exam Invigilator - Nottinghamshire Location: Nottinghamshire Contract Type: Flexible / Seasonal Start Date: Exam seasons throughout the academic year Pay Rate: £16 per hour Training Required: Previous experience or online invigilation training (help provided if needed) Overview Education Personnel are recruiting Exam Invigilators across Nottinghamshire to support our partner schools during exam periods. This Exam Invigilator role is ideal for individuals who are available for short-term, flexible work when exams take place and are happy to accept bookings that may vary week to week. Exam Invigilators play an important role in ensuring exams run smoothly and in line with regulations. The work is straightforward, but reliability, attention to detail, and professionalism are essential. Work is mainly based in school exam halls during exam periods. This is an ideal opportunity for those looking to pick up additional work, return to education-based roles on a flexible basis, or work around other commitments. You must have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one. You can do this through us. Key Responsibilities • Set up exam rooms and prepare materials as directed • Supervise students during exams, ensuring regulations are followed • Distribute and collect exam papers correctly • Record attendance and report any issues or irregularities • Maintain a quiet, focused exam environment • Follow all exam board and school procedures The Ideal Candidate • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately • Confident supervising groups of students in an exam setting • Calm and professional at all times • Available for short-term and often last-minute bookings during exam periods • Willing to complete a one-hour online exam invigilator training course if not already trained Why Apply Through Education Personnel?
