Class 1 Shunter Driver Days & Nights Location: Leeds (LS9 / LS10) Start: Immediate Job Type: Ongoing | Full-Time or Ad Hoc Shifts Available Recruit A Driver are currently recruiting experienced and reliable Class 1 (C+E) Shunter Drivers for a busy and well-established client based in Leeds . This role involves straightforward trailer shunting and swaps between two local depots in the LS9 and LS10 areas. The work is simple, consistent, and ideal for drivers looking for regular hours or flexible cover. Both day and night shifts are available, with the option of full-time or ad hoc work to suit your availability. Weekend work is also available and paid at enhanced rates. Shift Patterns Days: 06:00 18:00 Nights: 18:00 06:00 Work Type: Trailer swaps between Leeds LS9 and LS10 depots Pay Rates Days: 16.50 19.00 per hour (shift dependent) Nights: 17.50 20.00 per hour (shift dependent) Enhanced rates for weekend work Requirements Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence held for a minimum of 24 months 612 months recent Class 1 driving experience Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Maximum 6 penalty points (minor endorsements only) Previous shunting or yard work experience is desirable but not essential Interested?
