The business is a highly successful manufacturer and are ideally located in the Peterlee area. The role will be working a permanent day shift, Monday to Friday. The Job you will do: Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and carry out reactive repairs on production machinery. Quickly diagnose and resolve electrical faults to reduce downtime. Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to maintain safe, efficient operations. Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations. Contribute to continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives. About you: Experience in a FMCG related or high-volume manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred. You will be a time served maintenance professional- preferably electrically biased. PLC fault finding skills would be an advantage but are not essential. Ideally you will hold an 18 th edition qualification, but this is not essential Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Ability to work both independently and within a team.
