Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for anIntegration & Test Engineer (Lab-Based)to join a specialist engineering department supporting complex system integration and proving activities within a secure, laboratory-based environment.This role performs hands-on integration, test and proving duties and reports into a senior engineer within the wider Integration and Systems Validation function.Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, conduct and report on system and sub-system integration and proving activities Set up, configure and operate laboratory-based test environments and rigs Execute hardware and software integration testing within a controlled lab setting Perform fault-finding and troubleshooting of complex integrated systems Capture, analyse and interpret test data using appropriate tools and methods Produce clear, accurate test documentation and reports Work collaboratively with systems, software and project teams to resolve issues Support adherence to laboratory procedures, safety standards and configuration controlThe ideal candidate would have: A degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering-related discipline Hands-on experience in laboratory-based integration and test environments Good understanding of hardware and software integration activities Familiarity with general commercial laboratory test equipment Experience using data analysis tools and techniques An appreciation of electronics and complex engineered products Strong problem-solving skills with a logical and practical approach Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team The confidence to support or guide small teams when requiredThe ideal candidate must have: Proven experience working in a physical, on-site laboratory environment A practical, hands-on approach to testing and integration activities The ability to work full-time on-site due to the lab-based nature of the role A disciplined approach to procedures, safety and documentationThis position offers an attractive benefits package, which includes but is not inclusive of: Company bonus scheme (based on company performance) Annual pay and promotion reviews (based on personal performance) Paid overtime at an enhanced rate Flexi-leave of up to 15 additional days Pension scheme with a high total contribution level Subsidised on-site facilities and restaurants Free on-site parking Strong career progression, training and development opportunitiesIf this role looks like your next challenge, please contact Keelan ASAP or apply via this advert.Please note that due to the nature of the client’s business, only candidates who currently hold full British Citizenship (without limitations) or Dual Nationality inclusive of British Citizenship will be considered.We endeavour to reply to every candidate, every time.
