Let's grow together!Please note that the company does not offer sponsorship and therefore candidates must have the legal right to live and work in the UK to be considered for this roleAbout the role:To administer and monitor quality, product safety and health and safety processes and procedures to ensure that the company complies with all certifications, regulatory and legal standardsYou'll also be responsible for managing information flow by researching, recording, and analysing data and informationKey Responsibilities:Product Safety and QualityUpdate and maintain accurate records using the appropriate business systems, applications, and databases, ensuring systems are always audit-readyProvide general administration support and advice to the group on product safety and qualityManage the document control registerCreate and issue product specifications for internal and customer useContact suppliers for documentation as part of the product approval processComplete customer questionnaires, collating information and dataAssist/participate with site audits BRC, FSC etcComplete monthly reports on performance as requiredCoordinate traceability checklists and exercisesMaintain the audit risk assessment, audit checklists and scheduleAdminister the pest control programmeMaintain the calibration registerMaintain the glass audit registerAdminister the compliance training requirements for the group, communicating with the relevant managers as required and updating the training matrixHealth and SafetyAdminister the site risk assessments, supporting reviews and changesOrganise safety training to educate company staff on necessary safety principlesAdminister safety procedures, and policies for production operationsAdminister investigations to identify the root cause of an incident or other unsafe conditions on a work siteOversee the placement and setup of safety signs to warn of potential hazardCollaborate with law enforcement agents and investigators to address cases of workplace accidentMaintain the group COSSH registerAssist in carrying out inspections of workplaces and takes necessary action to ensure complianceAssist in responding to and investigating concerns/complaints from workers/employers and assist in taking appropriate actionAssist in the establishment of workplace safety and health committeesMonitoring First aid requirements across the businessSupport the site induction programmeAbout you:Requirements:MS Office skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, power point & data collectionAble to communicate with all members of the businessA team player - prepared to help with all tasksFlexible approach managing work within specific deadlinesExceptional organisation skills a mustStrong experience in leading teamsStrong H&S focus driving the right behaviours & always priority number oneAble to lead by example on all aspects of the businessNot essential but desirable:Experience within the packaging industryProject management experience advantageousThe job description is not exhaustive. xjdpvnf From time to time you may be required to perform other duties and responsibilities which are not included in the above description: but are within you capabilities and where necessary training will be givenWhy join us:As Compliance Officer at Solidus, we offer you a challenging position within a dynamic and ambitious international organization that is constantly changingWe offer you an attractive benefits package.
