The Opportunity This role provides full ownership of the month-end close process and delivery of accurate and timely divisional reporting. Acting as a trusted finance business partner, the successful candidate will collaborate across the division to drive insight, efficiency, and value creation. The position offers exposure to senior management, operational finance teams, and external advisors, as well as the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiativesenhancing systems, processes, and management reporting capabilities. Reporting to the Divisional Financial Director, the role covers management reporting, financial control, and support for statutory reporting of divisional entities. Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of monthly management accounts, including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow forecasts, variance analysis, KPIs, and commentaryPartnering with the division to provide insight, analysis, and clear communication of financial dataLiaising with external auditors on statutory audit engagementsReviewing and improving processes and controls in collaboration with finance and operational teamsSupporting merger and acquisition activity as requiredAssisting the Group Financial Controller, and CFO as neededAbout YouQualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA), ideally seeking a first move from practice into industryStrong communication skills and commercial acumenSelf-motivated, proactive, and eager to learnTeam-oriented, with the ability to lead and develop othersPrevious audit experience or experience within a large/complex organisation is advantageous This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious newly qualified accountant looking to make a strong first move into industryjoining a business where finance plays a pivotal and visible role in driving performance and supporting growth.
