Our multidisciplinary teams work across a wide range of specialties, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma, family therapy, andneurodevelopmental conditions.Role Overview:We are seeking an experiencedChild & Adolescent Consultant Psychiatristto join our multidisciplinary team atTRC on apart-time basis (1 day per week)at ourCentral London clinic. This is an on-site role focused on the assessment, diagnosis, and management ofADHD, ASD, and associated mental health conditionsin children and adolescents.You will work collaboratively with clinicians across TRC, supported by alarge and experienced administrative team, allowing you to focus on high-quality clinical care. The role involves close liaison withfamilies, schools, GPs, and other professionals, ensuring a joined-up and patient-centred approach.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensivepsychiatric and neurodevelopmental assessments, including ADHD and ASD assessments, for children and adolescentsDiagnose ADHD, ASD, and comorbid mental health conditions in line withUK clinical guidelinesand best practiceDevelop and overseeindividualised treatment plans, including medication management, psychoeducation, and onward referrals where appropriateProvide ongoingmedication reviews and follow-up appointments, monitoring effectiveness and side effectsWork closely within amultidisciplinary team, collaborating with psychologists, psychotherapists, nutritionists, coaches and other clinicians at TRCLiaise withGPs, schools, local authorities, and external professionalsto support integrated care and reasonable adjustmentsContribute torisk assessment, safeguarding, and crisis managementwhere requiredMaintain high standards of clinical documentation with administrative support from TRCs dedicated teamEssential RequirementsMedical degree (MBBS or equivalent)Full GMC registrationwith a licence to practiseOn theSpecialist Register for Child & Adolescent Psychiatry(CCT or equivalent)Demonstrated experience working withinCAMHS or equivalent settingsSignificant experience assessing and managingADHD and ASDin children and adolescentsStrong understanding ofUK neurodevelopmental pathways, comorbid presentations, safeguarding, and multi-agency workingConfident, compassionate communicator with children, young people, and familiesAbility to work autonomously while contributing positively to a collaborative MDTWhat We Offer:Part-time role: 1 day per weekCentral London on-site clinicCollaborative MDT environment with experienced cliniciansExtensiveadministrative and operational support, reducing non-clinical workloadFlexible, supportive working cultureCompetitive pay, dependent on experienceEqual Opportunity Statement:TRC is an equal opportunity employer.
