The role focuses on the build and assembly of bespoke machinery, working from detailed engineering drawings and contributing directly to the delivery of high-quality, precision-engineered equipment.Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical Fitter:Assemble special purpose machinery and sub-assemblies to engineering drawings and specificationsFit mechanical components including bearings, gears, and taper lock pulleysInstall pneumatic and hydraulic pipework as part of machine buildsCarry out quality checks and maintain a safe, organised working environmentRequirements of the Mechanical Fitter:Time-served Mechanical Fitter or Engineer with a recognised mechanical qualificationStrong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specificationsExperience working with hand tools and power tools in an assembly environmentKnowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics, with fabrication experience advantageousBenefitsCompetitive salary up to 35,000 to 38,000 depending on experienceCompany pension schemeFree on-site parkingFull-time, on-site role offering long term stabilityIf you are a skilled Mechanical Fitter seeking a stable, on-site role within a specialist engineering environment, we would love to hear from you.Please note: At this time, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship. xjdpvnf Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK without requiring future sponsorship.Recruitment Consultant: Dan MartinRef: 11100
