Were looking for an Environmental & Sustainability Advisor to play a key role in shaping and delivering our environmental strategy across rail and non-rail operations.In this role, youll lead on environmental compliance, continuous improvement, and sustainability initiativesworking closely with project teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure best practice and industry-leading standards.What youll be doingDeveloping and maintaining our Environmental Management System and sustainability proceduresEnsuring compliance with environmental legislation, ISO standards, and Network Rail requirementsSupporting project teams to embed environmental best practice on siteManaging audits, inspections, incident investigations, and waste management plansMaintaining accreditations and supplier pre-qualification portals (e.g. RISQS, CHAS, UVDB)Leading energy assessments and driving efficiency and carbon reduction initiativesMonitoring performance, managing non-conformances, and producing environmental reportsPromoting positive environmental behaviours across the businessWhat were looking forDegree in Environmental Science or a related disciplineIEMA Practitioner membership (or working towards)Strong Environmental Management Systems and ISO 14001 experienceInternal Auditor qualification (ISO 14001)Experience in rail or infrastructure environments (PTS desirable)Confident communicator with strong reporting and stakeholder engagement skillsProficient in Microsoft OfficeHealth & Safety qualification and IOSH membership desirableWhy join us?Youll be part of a forward-thinking organisation where sustainability matters, with the opportunity to influence real change across major infrastructure projects and develop your career in a supportive, professional environment. xjdpvnf Apply now to help shape a more sustainable future in rail and infrastructure.
