Transport AutoCAD Technician Birmingham | 30,000 - 38,000 I'm working with a well-established transport and infrastructure consultancy that delivers integrated services across transport planning, highways (S278/S38) design, drainage, environmental planning, and project delivery. Operating nationally, the business works with a diverse range of public and private sector clients on development-led schemes. The consultancy is continuing to expand it's new Birmingham office and is looking to appoint a Transport AutoCAD Technician to join one of the early hires in the team. This role is focused on supporting the transport planning team , specialising in development planning projects , and helping deliver high-quality, technically accurate design outputs. The Role Support the transport planning team on development-led projects Produce and update highways and transport drawings using AutoCAD Prepare S278/S38 layouts, junction designs, and general arrangement drawings Assist with drawings for Transport Assessments and Transport Statements Ensure compliance with UK design standards and local authority requirements Coordinate with internal project teams to meet deadlines Maintain accurate electronic project records Contribute to the establishment and growth of the Birmingham office Requirements Strong AutoCAD skills (essential) Experience in highways, transport, or civil engineering design Exposure to development planning projects Knowledge of S278/S38 schemes (desirable) Good attention to detail and a collaborative mindset Salary & Benefits 30,000 - 38,000 (depending on experience) Additional annual leave Profit sharing and performance bonuses Pension scheme Private medical and dental insurance Cycle to work scheme Salary sacrifice car scheme Company events Please get in touch if interested!
