Junior Buyer Construction Company c25k - 30k (Dependent on Experience) Additional Benefits The Company Established for 50 years this well-established Construction Contractor work on projects throughout the North West of England, with offices based in Middlewich Cheshire. The Junior Buyer Role They have an excellent opportunity for a Junior Buyer to join their team based in the head office. Reporting into and learning from an experienced Senior Buyer you will provide support in the following areas: Production of procurement schedules and buying reports Any other reasonable buying related tasks as directed by line manager or referred to in the Buying procedures Place orders for material and plant for the live construction sites Issue tender packages to suppliers to price 'schedule Monitor orders against budget Review invoice queries and resolve/respond in a timely manner Provide support to Site Management to co-ordinate material deliveries to enable construction work to proceed to agreed programmes Assist in monitoring the site control of materials Work with internal and external colleagues in a professional and courteous manner Ensure compliance with company standard procedures The Successful Junior Buyer Role A minimum of 1 years experience within a Buying related role. Ideally in a construction or engineering environment Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to be assertive. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills, a good eye for details and the confidence to deal with all levels of the Business. It is essential to have a high standard of mathematical ability as well as a good commercial acumen. TPBN1_UKTJ
