HGV Class 1 Driver Wolverhampton, West Midlands People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver based in Wolverhampton, West Midlands to join our well-established client. Shifts Monday to Sunday 5 days out of 7 18:30 starts Rates of Pay Basic: 17.00 per hour Saturday/Sunday: 19.00 per hour Bank Holiday: 20.00 per hour Benefits Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay Training provided Immediate starts Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties RDC trunking work Operate and drive Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhere to traffic laws and regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assist with loading and unloading when required Essential Skills Valid UK Category C+E licence Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience No more than six penalty points (minor infringements only) Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card Good spoken and written English Excellent punctuality and time-keeping Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience Previous commercial driving experience Previous experience using LST trailers Training Provided Ongoing training will be provided throughout the assignment Apply If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as an HGV Class 1 Driver, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more.
