Argentil Capital Partners (UK) Limited is an infrastructure focused boutique investment bank that providesfinancial advisory services to corporates and project sponsors across Africa.We are seeking a motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Manager, Deal Advisory. TheManager will play a key role in driving financial advisory and corporate finance transaction execution, clientrelationship management, and business development.The Manager will oversee deal structuring (debt and equity), financial analysis, and strategic planning. Asa senior team member, the candidate will lead deal teams, develop junior employees, and collaborate withcross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of transactions.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution• Managing the execution of projects with clients which includes and is not limited to clientmanagement, financial modelling, preparation of transaction documents, and valuation.• Managing projects and serving as execution team lead with guidance from MD• Ensuring timely delivery/execution of tasks and projects.• Preparing and delivering professional presentations to clients.Leadership and Team Development• Acting as an advisor/mentor to project team members and client (as applicable) to help them growprofessionally.• Ensuring consistent quality of thought, work processes and deliverables.• Ensuring quality of deliverables & work processes; checking against relevant agreements to ensureconformity with contact guidelines and client expectations.• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages innovation and excellence.• Ability to lead high-performing teams and work in a fast-paced environment.Financial Analysis and Modelling• Prepare, update and manipulate robust financial models under various scenarios (DCF, M&A, LBOetc) using standard FM techniques.• Review and approve financial models developed by junior employees to ensure accuracy andreliability.• Present financial analysis and recommendations to senior management and clients.• Prepare complex financial analysis and modelling to support transaction structuring and decision-making, where required.Documentation1• Prepare, review and opine on NDAs, term sheets, MoUs, loan agreements and other financing documentationRegulatory & Compliance Oversight• Whilst not a sponsored person under FCA, to support the firm’s compliance with FCA regulationsand other capital market authorities.Client Relationship Management• Managing all aspects of client engagements with emphasis on solutions delivery. timeliness andclient satisfaction.• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with strategic advice andsolutions.• Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and provide specific solutionsand strategies to meet those needs.Business Development• Develop and coordinate the preparation of pitch books and proposals to present to potentialclients, showcasing the firm's capabilities and expertise.• Supervise and conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities withinthe industry.• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the firm's client base and revenuestreams.• Keep abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and investment opportunities within therelevant sectors we cover.Internal Reporting Relationships• Supporting the MD in the development of quarterly reports and Quarterly Board Papers to providethe Board with updates on the firm’s projects and clients.• Assisting the enabling functions, where necessary.• Coordinate with other business functions such as HR, legal, corporate services, and other internalstakeholders to ensure smooth deal executionRequired Skills• Strong Financial modelling skills - critical aspect of the role• Strategic thinking and decision-making ability• Excellent Project Management skills• Strong commercial acumen, and good client engagement experience• Strong communication, presentation and analytical skills, with the ability to convey complexconcepts to clients and stakeholders• Highly tuned negotiation and conflict resolution skills• Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills• Business development competence• Strong execution and transaction experience• High sense of responsibility, accountability, and dependability• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously• In-depth understanding of industry trends, market dynamics and regulatory requirements.• Good relationships with local and international debt and equity providersEducation and Experience• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, business management or any othernumerical or technical discipline from a reputable University.• Appropriate post-graduate and/or professional qualifications such as an MBA, CFA, M.Sc. inFinance• Minimum of 6 years’ relevant post-graduation experience gained in financial advisory, investmentbanking or a similar environment.• Proven track record of successfully managing and executing complex financial transactions.What We Offer• Competitive base salary + Enhanced pension pay• Performance-based bonuses• Allowances for benefits such as private health insurance and life assurance.• Opportunities for career growth and advancement.• Comprehensive training and ongoing support.• Positive, dynamic work environment with a supportive teamThe role will involve some local & international travel (expected range of 3 – 4 times a year)We do not offer visa sponsorship.
