Our digital platforms, printed publications and awards are internationally recognised and are essential reading and networking for the B2B Supply Chain in the beauty and cosmetic markets. Having enjoyed steady growth since 2008, we are now looking to add to our sales team. Based just a short walk from London Bridge Station and Borough Market, The role will play a critical part in the future success of the company so we are seeking talented, motivated sales professionals with a proven track record in B2B media sales and the ability to drive profitable revenues from both new prospects and existing clients. Reporting to the Head of Sales, candidates should ideally have a Media Sales background, (but not essential) with experience of international client management. In addition, you should be confident and able to travel to both our own well-respected events and other trade events to countries such as New York, Frankfurt, Malaysia, Singapore etc.Whilst the roles come with a database of existing client accounts that we would expect you to build strong relationships with, it also entails a high degree of new business development which is generated through outbound activity. We have an extensive database of contacts in our CRM system as well a strong following on social media to source leads from. In addition to our existing contacts, you will also be expected to source your own leads through outbound prospecting, cold call/emails and networking at live events. Around a third of sales activity will be to existing customers, with the remaining two thirds spent developing new client relationships. To succeed in this fast-paced environment you should be confident, with a likeable personality and a high attention to detail when it comes to client campaign management and administration.
