This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in WordPress who is keen to expand their skills and take on increasing responsibility. What the role involves: Building, customising, and maintaining WordPress websites, themes, and plugins. Assisting with front-end and back-end development tasks. Turning designs and requirements into fully functional, responsive, and SEO-optimised sites. Integrating third-party tools, APIs, and e-commerce platforms. Supporting troubleshooting, bug fixes, and general technical problem-solving. Keeping up to date with WordPress updates, trends, and best practices. What were looking for: Some proven experience with WordPress. Good knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with WordPress theme and plugin customisation. Understanding of responsive design principles. Basic awareness of website performance optimisation and SEO. Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn. Desirable skills: Experience with WooCommerce or other e-commerce integrations. Knowledge of page builders such as Elementor. Familiarity with version control (Git). Awareness of accessibility and security best practices.
