Founding Account Executive | Early-Stage B2B SaaS | Build Commercial strategy and function£90k - £120k base with a double uncapped OTE and equity We’re hiring a Founding Account Executive to build the commercial engine of an early-stage, API-first B2B SaaS company selling into enterprise customers.This role is for someone who doesn’t just want to run a sales process but wants to design it, test it, and scale it. You’ll be the first commercial hire, working directly with the founders to shape how the business goes to market.The product is highly technical, integration-led, and designed for modern engineering and product teams, meaning technical credibility is essential.The OpportunityAs the first Account Executive, you’ll be responsible for building sales from zero to repeatable motion:Owning the full enterprise sales cycle from first conversation to closeRunning deep, technical discovery with engineering, product, and platform teamsLeading API-driven solution design and integration conversations during sales cyclesActing as the bridge between customers, founders, and engineeringDefining ICPs, buyer personas, messaging, and qualification frameworksShaping pricing, packaging, and contract structures for enterprise dealsClosing early lighthouse customers and building a strong reference baseLaying the foundations for a future sales team (process, tooling, playbooks)This is a hands-on, high-autonomy role, you’ll be building while selling.This role suits someone who’s comfortable in early-stage ambiguity and excited by enterprise complexity.You’ll bring:Proven experience selling technical B2B SaaS to enterprise customersStrong working knowledge of APIs, integrations, and modern software architecturesAbility to hold credible conversations with senior technical stakeholdersExperience operating in startups or scale-ups, ideally as an early commercial hireA track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise dealsA builder’s mindset, pragmatic, iterative, and comfortable without playbooksYou’re likely not right if you need:A fully defined sales processHigh lead volumes handed to youDon't have a technical backgroundWhy JoinA genuine founding role with influence over commercial strategyDirect access to the founder and product leadershipAn enterprise-grade product with real technical depthOpportunity to define how sales is done before it scalesCompetitive salary with meaningful equity participation
