Hours of work: Monday to Friday 09:00am to 16:30pm About the Role Become a Trainer in your field of Care and youth work! We have an amazing opportunity for a dedicated Children & Young People Trainee Assessor (CYP) to support apprentices on their learning journey within Health and Social Care. You will be trained to develop youngsters and assess them in the workplace This is a rewarding role for someone who is passionate about developing learners, maintaining high mentoring young adults and training standards. You will be trained to provide structured, end-to-end support to learners, ensuring they are fully prepared to progress and successfully achieve their qualifications. Key Responsibilities You will be trained to deliver CYP high-quality, learner-centred assessments tailored to individual needs Travel across a regional area to conduct workplace assessments Trained in Children and young people and develop, complete, and review Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) You will be trained to assess and evaluate workplace evidence against qualification standards Maintain accurate records of learner attendance, progress, and guided learning hours Support learners to meet performance targets and complete their programmes Arrange and contribute to additional training, including day release and in-house sessions Ensure compliance with awarding body and audit requirements Essential Requirements: L3 QCF in Children and Young People and have occupational experience with young people aged 12-19.
