Sales Operations & CRM Manager Location: Birchwood, Warrington, WA3 (Office-based / hybrid) Role Purpose The Sales Operations & CRM Manager is responsible for making the sales team more effective by owning systems, data, outbound email, and reporting.This role purpose is to ensure the sales team always has: Clean data Structured pipeline Consistent outbound email activity Clear performance visibility Key Responsibilities CRM Ownership Own the CRM end-to-end (structure, stages, fields, workflows) Ensure pipeline accuracy and data quality Maintain clear definitions for: Leads Opportunities Qualified accounts Enforce CRM compliance across the sales team Cold Email & Outbound Systems Build and manage outbound email campaigns Segment prospect lists by industry, size, location, and need Design email sequences that generate qualified interest Monitor and optimise open rates, reply rates, and conversions Lead Management & Routing Score and prioritise inbound and outbound leads Route leads to the correct salesperson Ensure no leads are lost, duplicated, or ignored Track lead source to profit outcome Reporting & Performance Visibility Build and maintain sales dashboards Track: Pipeline value Conversion rates Profit by source Activity vs outcomes Provide weekly reporting to senior management Process Improvement Reduce admin burden on sales team Automate repetitive tasks where possible Improve handover quality between SDRs, BDMs, and closers Continuously refine systems to improve conversion efficiency Targets & Performance Measures Profit generated from email Email campaign performance (open & reply rates) CRM compliance (% of deals correctly logged) Pipeline accuracy (forecast vs actual) Reduction in admin time for sales team Commission & Reward Structure Competitive base salary Profit-based commission paid as a percentage of profit generated from: Email-sourced accounts CRM-enabled opportunities Commission paid over 6 months Commission uncapped and aligned with overall margin protection Skills & Experience Essential Strong CRM experience (any major system) Experience running B2B email outreach campaigns Highly organised with strong attention to detail Data-driven mindset Confident working with sales teams and senior stakeholders Desirable Experience in logistics, transport, or B2B services Understanding of sales funnels and conversion metrics Familiarity with automation tools and integrations Personal Attributes Structured and methodical Commercially minded Comfortable enforcing process Proactive problem solver Salary & Benefits Base salary: 38,000+ (depending on experience) On-target earnings: 45,000 50,000 Profit-aligned commission Direct impact on company growth Opportunity to progress into senior operations or revenue leadership rolesJob Type: Full-timePay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
