Job Description

Quality Inspector Based in Halesowen Permanent - 38 hours per week 37,000 basic + overtime and benefits We are currently seeking an experienced and professional quality inspector to work within the machine shop of a leading manufacturer. The purpose of this role of quality inspector is to ensure components produced in the machine shop are checked to ensure conformity based on drawings and dimensions. Some of the benefits of this quality inspector role include: - 38 hour standard week - Double day shift on weekly rotation - 37000 basic salary - Overtime premiums - Onsite parking - Continuous training and development - Career progression - Pension enrolment - 28 days holiday rising with service Key Elements of a quality inspector: - Dimensional and visual inspection of all finished parts using various methods and techniques - Reading and interpreting engineering drawings - tolerances, symbols etc - Complete and feedback reports and data into management KPI's - Identify and report non-conforming parts - Work closely with machine shop and machine operators to ensure product quality - Configure and calibrate measuring equipment Required skills for the role of quality inspector: - 2 years + experience within a quality role - preferably within engineering or manufacturing environment - Ablility to use all hand held equipment - verniers, micrometers, calipers - Ability to use electronic measuring arm - FARO arm - Ideally have CMM experience - Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret information - Have a logical and problem solving approach - Written English and Math skills If you feel you match the criteria for this role, and Halesowen is a suitable work location, apply today!!
