Research & Development Engineer– East Yorkshire – Contract (6-12 months)About the Company:We are looking for an engineer with experience in product development and physical product testing from either the medical device or the consumer products industry to work on a maternity cover contract. This is a fully site-based role.Responsibilities:Managing and carrying out technical investigations and lab tests.Designing and conducting lab tests for prototypes.Design Control.Writing protocols, recording data and compiling reports.Assisting with sourcing materials.Requirements:Degree in Science or Engineering.Experience working in product development from the medical device or consumer products industry (personal care, home care, incontinence, ostomy, hygiene, tissues/ paper)Experience developing and carrying out physical tests.Ability to work onsite full time.
