Job Description

As a Business Development Representative at Cocentric, you will be focused on growth and driving scale for our products and services. As a BDR you will own outbound pipeline creation into HR, IT and Operations, shape our ABM motions, and be the start for enterprise and upper mid-market deals. You will combine hands on prospecting with playbook building, experimentation, and cross-functional orchestration.RESPONSIBILITIESOwn outbound pipeline creation: hit monthly meeting and Sales accepted opportunities targets and quarterly pipeline goals for priority ICPs/segments.Prospect into target accounts: research, build lists, and multi-thread into HR, IT, and Operations leaders across enterprise/upper mid-market.Run outbound campaigns end-to-end: write sequences, call, email, LinkedIn/video, and A/B test messaging, report results and iterate.Qualify rigorously: use MEDDICC to confirm pain, impact, authority, and next steps, convert first meetings to SAOs.Book and hold meetings: secure time with decision makers, drive confirmations/reminders, and recover no shows quickly.Partner co-sell & ABM: coordinate joint plays with partnerships, build shared target lists and follow-ups.Activate events: pre-book meetings, prospect, and execute structured post-event pursuit and micro-event follow-ups.Handoff to Account Executives: document context, stakeholders, MEDDICC notes, and next actions; ensure smooth transitions to AEs.Build playbooks & enablement: codify talk tracks, objections, triggers, and outreach templates, mentor junior BDRs.Maintain clean data & tooling: keep CRM (HubSpot) accurate, update fields/activities, and collaborate with Sales Team Lead on dashboards.Feed market intelligence: capture competitive insights, buyer triggers, and product feedback to Sales, Marketing, and Product.WHAT YOU’LL BRING1–2 years’ BDR/SDR experience in B2B SaaS (enterprise/upper mid-market preferred) with consistent top-quartile attainment.Proven cold outbound skillset (phone first mentality, modern social/email craft) and comfort speaking to HR, IT, and Operations leaders.Working knowledge of MEDDICC, ABM, and multi-threading.Strong copywriting, research and commercial curiosity; you test, measure and iterate.Tools: HubSpot, Lusha, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, intent data, enrichment (e.g., ZoomInfo), and call recordingNice to have: partner co-sell motions, event prospecting, frontline/deskless tech domain.WHY COCENTRICCompetitive compensation package and commission.Individual training plan, offering world-class sales enablement upskilling.Be part of a collaborative, high-growth team backed by recent investment.Hybrid working model with a base in our London office and flexibility to work from home.29 days annual leave, including a day off for your birthday, plus bank holidays.Our office closes over ChristmasGenerous private medical care and additional perks with VitalityCocentric recognise that your family is important and being able to spend quality time with your family as it grows is a wonderful experience.
