JOB DESCRIPTIONAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Car Parts Sales Advisor to join our established sales team at our Stafford branch, specialising in the aftermarket supply of parts for cars, light commercial vehicles, and trucks, serving both trade and retail customers.As a Sales Advisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day success of the branch. You will build and maintain strong relationships with trade customers both in-branch and over the phone, aiming to win new business while strengthening existing accounts. You will be involved in all areas of branch operations, with a primary focus on maintaining and expanding the local customer base while delivering outstanding customer service.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESTaking customer orders accurately over the phone and in person, processing them efficiently and professionallyBuilding strong customer relationships to increase sales, improve margins, and deliver excellent customer serviceUsing MAM Autocat and other business management systems to identify parts, process orders, manage pricing, and check availabilityWorking collaboratively with all areas of the branch, including sales and warehouse teams, to ensure customer needs are metEnsuring all customer call-backs and enquiries are completed in a timely mannerLiaising with the Warehouse team to manage customer returns and reduce return rates through accurate part identificationMinimising credits and returns by supplying the correct parts first timeSupporting general branch operations as requiredSKILLS & EXPERIENCEMinimum 2+ years’ experience in a car parts sales, motor factor, or automotive aftermarket environmentStrong knowledge of vehicle parts, applications, and part identificationExperience using MAM Autocat and/or similar business management softwareExcellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build long-term trade relationshipsGood basic maths and English skills for pricing, invoicing, and customer communicationConfident and efficient computer userStrong business awareness with a proactive and driven attitudeFull UK driving licence preferredWHAT WE OFFERCompany pension scheme20 days annual leave + bank holidaysStaff discount on car parts and accessoriesGenuine career progression opportunities for motivated individualsOn-site parkingWORKING HOURSMonday to Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pmOne Saturday every other week: 9:00am – 5:00pmWork Location: In person – Stafford
