This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong customer relationships while maintaining tight control over outstanding debt.The RoleYou will take ownership of proactively managing client debt, ensuring payments are received within agreed contractual terms. Working closely with customers and internal stakeholders, you'll support the wider Accounts Receivable function through accurate reporting, query resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesProactive credit control via phone, email, customer portals and face-to-face meetingsContacting strategic customers mid-way through payment terms to ensure timely settlementLogging and managing all client queries efficientlyRecording and monitoring all Promise to Pays (PTPs)Supporting the Accounts Receivable team with reporting and ad hoc projectsCompleting relevant documentation for credit requests, write-offs and client refundsPreparing for and attending external customer visitsPreparing for and attending monthly ledger reviewsInitiating appropriate action to resolve overdue accounts, escalating problem accounts where requiredProviding cross-functional support within the Credit Control teamContributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and reduce errorsWorking towards individual and team KPIs and performance targets About YouIntermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot TablesExperience using live invoicing or customer payment portalsConfident xjdpvnf with accounts reconciliationAAT or CICM qualification desirable but not essentialProven customer service or client-facing experienceExcellent communication and teamworking skillsStrong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectivelyPerformance-driven with a desire to exceed expectationsExcellent time management skillsA natural problem solver with strong attention to detail and root cause analysis ability If you have the above experience and looking for a role with immediate start apply today!
