MERITUS are recruiting for a Test & Inspection Engineer to join our client in a permanent position to support upcoming energy projects across the green and nuclear sectors.Experience, qualification, and soft skills, have you got everything required to succeed in this opportunity Find out below.TEST & INSPECTION ENGINEER- NEG- ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC- STONE, STAFFORDSHIRE- FAST MOVING PROCESS The main duties of an Inspection & Test Engineer include: Conducting Inspections and Tests: Carrying out thorough inspections and a variety of electrical tests, including point-to-point wiring checks, electrical safety assessments, and equipment functionality testing.Documentation and Reporting: Completing detailed test and inspection reports, assembly record cards, and other documentation to ensure full traceability and compliance.Adherence to Standards: Working in accordance with electrical schematic drawings, project-specific hardware test specifications, and relevant industry regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, CE, British Standards).Collaboration: Working closely with production teams, design engineers, and clients to maintain high-quality standards and meet project deadlines.On-site Work: Occasionally traveling to customer or supplier sites to verify functionality, support testing, and ensure compliance.Required Skills and Qualifications Successful candidates typically possess: Experience in electrical inspection and testing roles, ideally within a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment.Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.A full UK driving licence may be required for travel to various sites. xjdpvnf Eligibility for SC security clearance may be necessary, depending on project requirements within critical infrastructure sectors such as nuclear, power generation, and water.
