Job Title: Registered Doctor Functional Assessor Location: Nottingham Salary: 72,000 per annum Contract Type: Permanent (Full-time or Part-time, 3 or 4 days available) Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 37.5hrs per week (Hybrid) 2-3 remote Working About the Role Minerva, in partnership with our global client specialising in health and disability assessments , is seeking GMC-registered Medical Practitioners to join their expanding team. As a Functional Assessor , you will: Conduct assessments via telephone or video consultations to understand how a persons health condition or disability affects their daily life. Use your clinical judgement and communication skills to evaluate the impact of various conditions. Produce factual, evidence-based medical reports that help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine eligibility for disability benefits. Complete assessments typically last around 45 minutes, with comprehensive training and ongoing support provided to ensure your success. What Were Looking For GMC-registered Doctor with a minimum of 2 years post-registration experience (FY2 or above) . Strong communication and report-writing skills . Ability to work towards individual and team goals within a supportive environment. Broad medical knowledge, with experience managing a range of physical and mental health conditions .
