Maintenance EngineerWe are currently seeking aproactive and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineerto support and maintain a site withmodern automated machinery . This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who canhit the ground running , contribute to continuous improvement, and work as part of a well-established engineering team. You will be working alongside a team of engineers, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, and playing a key role in maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and reliability across the operation. Key ResponsibilitiesCarry outplanned preventative maintenance (PPM)andreactive breakdownsMaintain and repairautomated and conveyor-based machinerySupportcontinuous improvement initiativesDiagnose and fault-find on bothmechanical and electrical systemsEnsure all work is completed in line withhealth & safety regulationsWork efficiently to minimise downtime and support production targetsTechnical RequirementsElectrical (approx. 40%): Fault finding onsensors, relays, motorsExperience withsingle and three-phase systemsPLC fault finding(inputs/outputs, not programming)Mechanical (approx. 60%): Bearings, belts, chains, gearboxesPneumaticsWelding and basic machiningMachinery Experience: Conveyors (mechanical & electrical)PalletisersAutomated sortation systemsAbout YouApprentice trained or time-served engineerBackground inmanufacturing, FMCG, or distributionStrong conveyor experience is essentialPhysically fit and comfortable in a fast-paced environmentFlexible with shift patternsStrong communication skills (written and verbal)Ex-forces candidates welcomedOverseas-trained engineers considered on a case-by-case basis (excellent English required)Shift PatternRotating shifts: Week 1: 6am – 2pmWeek 2: 6am – 2pmWeek 3: 2pm – 10pmWeek 4: 6pm – 2amPlusone 8-hour Sunday shift every 4 weeks42 hours per week Salary & BenefitsSalary:£46,473.96Overtime paid attime and a quarter(limited requirement)20 days holiday, increasing annually up to 25 daysMarket-leading family leave policiesEmployee assistance programme with wellbeing supportRetail and online discount benefitsTPBN1_UKTJ
