Due to continued growth, they are now looking to add an Electrically Biased Machine Tool Service Engineer to their UK field service team.This is a customer-facing role offering long-term stability, excellent earning potential, and strong career progression. The RoleAs a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing, and installing CNC machine tools at customer sites across the North West.Key responsibilities include:Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and breakdown supportElectrical fault-finding across CNC machine toolsDiagnostics on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systemsMachine installations, commissioning, removals & relocationsProviding high-level technical support on-site and remotelyCompleting service reports and documentation accuratelyRepresenting the business professionally on customer sites What Were Looking ForEssential:Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service TechnicianStrong electrical bias with hands-on fault-finding experienceBackground working on CNC machines or similar industrial equipmentAbility to read schematics, wiring diagrams & OEM manualsExcellent customer-facing communication skillsFull UK driving licenceDesirable:Experience with CNC brands such as Correa, CMZ, GER, Meco, Geminis, or Honor SeikiPLC, servo drive, motor & controller knowledgeInstallation & commissioning experienceElectrical, Mechanical or Mechatronic engineering qualifications Hours & PayMonThu: 08:0017:00 (30-min unpaid lunch)Fri: 08:0012:0038 hours per weekDoor-to-door travel payOvertime Rates:MonFri (outside normal hours): 1.333xSaturday: 1.5xSunday: 2xBenefits PackageCompany van (Ford Transit personal use optional, P11D applies)25 days holiday + bank holidaysPrivate healthcare (after 6 months, family options available)Pension: 5% employee / 8% employerCompany bonus schemeLaptop, mobile phone & full tool packageExpenses covered (fuel cards, hotels, subsistence)Ongoing manufacturer & in-house training Ideal AttributesProfessional, reliable & safety-focusedStrong troubleshooting mindsetComfortable working independentlyWilling to travel and work flexibly when required Interested? xjdpvnf If youre an electrically biased CNC Service Engineer looking for a long-term, well-supported field role with strong earning potential, Id like to hear from you.
